After a defensive mix-up in Vertientes FC's zone, Clemente Mingo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Gonzalez came out of the goal and Clemente Mingo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, David Steven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jonathan Paul fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raid Five.F.C's protests and gave Jonathan Paul a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Cai in the 38th minute of play forced Raid Five.F.C's goalkeeper Feliberto Enmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Vertientes FC's Jorge Tibalt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Enmanuel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Raid Five.F.C's Feliberto Enmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Tibalt in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Clemente Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jorge Tibalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Tibalt to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Luis Urti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raid Five.F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Urti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the game, Norberto Cai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Feliberto Enmanuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Vertientes FC's Julian Bastian seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Julian Bastian the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vertientes FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Julian Bastian had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 75 minutes into the game, one of Vertientes FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 79 minutes into the game, Ramon Feliu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the match was over Vertientes FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Raid Five.F.C throughout the match.
