The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dedé da Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlio Barreto went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by El ReJuNtE F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orlando Pirro was slow to take the kick. During this time UPCN's players had a chance to rest. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Edur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dedé da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Reynardo in the 81st minute of play. Dedé da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Reynardo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Dedé da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El ReJuNtE F.C. After some careless play in the UPCN defense, Júlio Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dedé da Cunha. The UPCN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dedé da Cunha should have stopped the shot. Despite being the better team, El ReJuNtE F.C failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
