Spectators: 6947 (Terracing: 5317, Seating: 1630, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Epifanio Guilabertus started the match with the kick off. Ricardo Gonchan kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Yngve Olaussen made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Barto. Paraná AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Antonio Barto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Sletten's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Yngve Olaussen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clorinda Unidos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 21 minutes of play, Clorinda Unidos's David Sletten made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Barto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonio Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Sletten in the 25th minute of play. Epifanio Guilabertus's late challenge caught a Clorinda Unidos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Epifanio Guilabertus helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paraná AFC's Epifanio Guilabertus got a free kick in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Paraná AFC's goal looked a bit too open when David Sletten came free, but Antonio Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Sletten might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Barto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Sletten ran back to his position shaking his head. David Sletten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Barto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Clorinda Unidos's Cirilo Che broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Yngve Olaussen took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonio Barto. Antonio Barto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Paraná AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clorinda Unidos were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yngve Olaussen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paraná AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! After 64 played minutes Clorinda Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Orlan. Yngve Olaussen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Barto made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Sletten in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, David Sletten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clorinda Unidos's supporters rose to their feet, but David Sletten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Barto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute Yngve Olaussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 played minutes Paraná AFC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Matxin. In the 74th minute of the match Cirilo Che shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Barto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Antonio Barto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yngve Olaussen's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Yngve Olaussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When David Sletten came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Clorinda Unidos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Sletten couldn't finish the play. David Sletten kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 88thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Paraná AFC's keeper Antonio Barto was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Antonio Barto made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Cirilo Che sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute Yngve Olaussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Clorinda Unidos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clorinda Unidos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
