In the 14th minute, Calle Peatonal 5's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benedicto Gabirel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 15 minutes into the game, Carolo Iliana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calle Peatonal 5's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esperanza AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Calle Peatonal 5's Carolo Iliana got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Calle Peatonal 5's zone, Candido Flores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Rutenio came out of the goal and Candido Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Rutenio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Esperanza AFC's Tomás Rutenio threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Candido Flores, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Flores in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Rutenio saved Calle Peatonal 5 from getting behind. Tomás Rutenio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Candido Flores in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute of the match, Candido Flores tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomás Rutenio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Calle Peatonal 5's Tomás Rutenio got control of the ball when Miguel Tauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Rodolfo Montxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cecilio Asier hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Candido Flores made a kick off. Rodolfo Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Silverio Weather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Rutenio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Flores's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. If Cristo Caton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Rutenio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Benedicto Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tomás Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Esperanza AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
