Paolo Hibai was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Isidro Rosario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 钱朗斌 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Rosario, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Manuel Martxot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 钱朗斌 having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Cavanagh got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Rosalio. The supporters of Cavanagh booed when 99 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Manuel Martxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 钱朗斌 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 钱朗斌 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Rosario in the 24th minute of play. 钱朗斌 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Rosario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the 99 defense, Manuel Martxot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 钱朗斌. The 99 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 钱朗斌 should have stopped the shot. Manuel Martxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, one of Cavanagh:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cavanagh. Domingos Araoz had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Paulo Remir's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 47th minute, Isidro Rosario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobo Sidoro made a kick off. Elias Nazario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Jacobo Sidoro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 99 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Domingos Araoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 99. If Victoriano Erlantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, Cavanagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Sugoi to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Erlantz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the game, Leonides Ramirez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 99's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavanagh the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of 99:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cavanagh:s goal. Manuel Martxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. 钱朗斌 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 99's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
