Algarrobitos's Bartolo Rumaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Algarrobitos from getting a goal against them. Bartolo Rumaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Bernabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosendo Lopez's goalkeeper Benicio Izotz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anselmo Honesto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fulgencio Steven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Bartolo Rumaldo made a huge save. Eustacio Lorencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Lorencio in the 45th minute of play forced Rosendo Lopez's goalkeeper Benicio Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Rosendo Lopez got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Nesor.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustacio Lorencio made a kick off. In the 54th minute Eustaquio Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Rumaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Eustacio Lorencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algarrobitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Lorencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Fulgencio Steven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Nesor in the 92nd minute of play forced Algarrobitos's goalkeeper Bartolo Rumaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Rosendo Lopez's Eustaquio Gorbea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bartolo Rumaldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Eustaquio Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eustaquio Gorbea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartolo Rumaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Rosendo Lopez players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
