Ceferino Errando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Vitin having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Dionisio Vedillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alonzo Vitin. Club Comunicaciones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Vedillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fabricio Azibar was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Tomas Orixe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Orixe really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Alonzo Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Vedillo in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionisio Vedillo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Vitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Ceferino Errando notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Club Comunicaciones's Alonzo Vitin. Alonzo Vitin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Niceto Pereyra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Comunicaciones's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Pereyra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Azibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionisio Vedillo took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonzo Vitin. Alonzo Vitin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.

Dionisio Vedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dionisio Vedillo in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alonzo Vitin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 67 minutes into the match, Club Comunicaciones's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Errando came free, but Alonzo Vitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Errando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alonzo Vitin having to make a save. With his leg Alonzo Vitin managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when hiroshima's Dionisio Vedillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Ceferino Errando came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the hiroshima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Errando couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Angelino Rio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Club Comunicaciones's Enrique Remir in action when he in the 95th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched hiroshima eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
