The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raimundo Satordi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Narciso Joanes came out and tried to block the shot, but Raimundo Satordi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. If Raimundo Satordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariusz Szarmach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Isauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, GINOKPO's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Lamberto came free, but Mariusz Szarmach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariusz Szarmach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Isauro in the 12th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Resignados's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Satordi came free, but Narciso Joanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Isauro in the 20th minute of play forced GINOKPO's goalkeeper Mariusz Szarmach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Pedro Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GINOKPO's Mariusz Szarmach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Mirande in the 23rd minute of play. GINOKPO's Raimundo Satordi got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Raimundo Satordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariusz Szarmach came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Resignados's Leonides Mirande. But to his dismay, Leonides Mirande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sebastian Lamberto's late challenge caught a GINOKPO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Lamberto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Resignados's Sebastian Lamberto got a free kick in the 41st minute. Pedro Cordarrel kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in GINOKPO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Club Atletico Resignados a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tobias Piarres, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GINOKPO's Mariusz Szarmach. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Narciso Joanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Orlo in the 66th minute of the match. Hermengildo Isauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, GINOKPO's Dag Granström got a free kick in the 70th minute. Hermengildo Isauro struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Mariusz Szarmach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Resignados. 75 minutes into the game, GINOKPO's Pastor Orlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Joanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Satordi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Joanes was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, GINOKPO's Remigio Aztore got a free kick in the 79th minute. Mariusz Szarmach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Mirande in the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Leonides Mirande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Resignados's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Mirande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariusz Szarmach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd match minute, GINOKPO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Granström to maneuver through the defense. Mariusz Szarmach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Mirande, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Narciso Joanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Orlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
