Isaac Matai took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Presebal Alfaro. Presebal Alfaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. San Martín de Tucumán's Presebal Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Turi in the 22nd minute of play. Presebal Alfaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Matai in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, San Martín de Tucumán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Santiago to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Isaac Matai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Presebal Alfaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mateo Lluis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Ntinos Anestis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, 于凡正 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cementerio de elefantes's supporters crossed their fingers, but 于凡正 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, San Martín de Tucumán's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Ahlstedt came free, but Presebal Alfaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Presebal Alfaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Turi in the 43rd minute of play. Cementerio de elefantes's Mateo Lluis got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46thth minute of the game Javier Turi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Martín de Tucumán's Presebal Alfaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Javier Turi made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Cementerio de elefantes got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Lluis. Ciro Otoniel charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Otoniel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Ciro Otoniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennart Ahlstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Presebal Alfaro having to interfere. Mateo Lluis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Isaac Matai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Presebal Alfaro. Isaac Matai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Isaac Matai took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Presebal Alfaro to make any attempt to save it. Presebal Alfaro made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Javier Turi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Cementerio de elefantes booed when San Martín de Tucumán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Presebal Alfaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Matai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Presebal Alfaro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Osvaldo Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andres Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Leon Maurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Feliu having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Cementerio de elefantes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Martín de Tucumán.
