Lumbreras FC's Santo Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santo Toribio struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Alberto Senio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lumbreras FC. Santo Toribio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Senio having to make a save. When Santo Toribio came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Lumbreras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Toribio couldn't finish the play. Alberto Senio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaudencio Duarte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. A hard shot by Santiago Chus from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Alberto Senio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

After having played for 51 minutes, Bartolo Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lumbreras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Toribio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alberto Senio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Lumbreras FC's goalkeeper Justo Gudesteo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Rafe. Justo Gudesteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Pagomari in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Chus in the 65th minute of play forced AFALP's goalkeeper Alberto Senio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Toribio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Senio having to interfere. Lumbreras FC's Santo Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Lumbreras FC booed when AFALP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Santo Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Santo Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
