After a rather tough play, Selva's Rene Gonzo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 8th minute Rene Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Oroitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Travesía FC's goalkeeper Everardo Oroitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Remigio during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Travesía FC booed when Selva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Remigio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Iker Baleren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudencio Garci was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Everardo Oroitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Travesía FC's Oscar Brun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Prudencio Garci. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Selva's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Oscar Brun scored to the left of an out of position Prudencio Garci, making the score, 3-0. Everardo Oroitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Gonzo in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Gonzo in the 36th minute of play forced Travesía FC's goalkeeper Everardo Oroitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Iker Baleren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Oscar Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Garci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everardo Oroitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Gonzo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Tiburcio Paskal took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Oroitz. Everardo Oroitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. With a little luck, Selva's Prudencio Garci got control of the ball when Iker Baleren tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Elias Erruki fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selva's protests and gave Elias Erruki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Elias Erruki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Brun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Prudencio Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Brun in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Selva's zone, Oscar Brun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Garci came out of the goal and Oscar Brun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Luís Gustavo Viana put in a rough tackle. After 56 played minutes Selva got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Viana. In the 58thth minute of the game Iker Baleren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Selva's Prudencio Garci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Oscar Brun made a precise shot to the right of Prudencio Garci. Selva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Rene Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Iker Baleren made a precise shot to the right of Prudencio Garci. Selva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Travesía FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute, Oscar Brun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Everardo Oroitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Gonzo in the 79th minute of play. Federico Palban kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Palban in the 83rd minute of play forced Selva's goalkeeper Prudencio Garci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Marciano Karlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudencio Garci was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Travesía FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
