Spectators: 6999 (Terracing: 5349, Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hilario Duarte kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Hilario Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pichaihué's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cosme Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Cosme Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes Malanzán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Sidoro. Valdo Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Rodriguez having to interfere. Emilio Rodriguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme Ramos's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Cosme Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Emilio Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Valdo Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rdth minute of the game Cosme Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pichaihué's Emilio Rodriguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Moreira in the 34th minute of play forced Pichaihué's goalkeeper Emilio Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Rodriguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme Ramos's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Hipolito Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Duarte in the 40th minute of the match. Malanzán AFC's Hipolito Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Duarte in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Cosme Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Emilio Rodriguez. Pichaihué's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Cosme Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Pichaihué players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malanzán AFC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosme Ramos to make the kick off. Hipolito Aztore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Ignazio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Malanzán AFC's Valdo Moreira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Pichaihué's zone, Valdo Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Rodriguez came out of the goal and Valdo Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cosme Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Malanzán AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Ramos couldn't finish the play. After 65 minutes, Mauro Chesus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pichaihué and the Malanzán AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mauro Chesus hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Cipriano Gabon's late challenge caught a Pichaihué's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Gabon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Malanzán AFC's Cipriano Gabon got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th match minute, Malanzán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Hilario Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Aztore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Malanzán AFC's Valdo Moreira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emilio Rodriguez. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Chano in the 79th minute of play forced Malanzán AFC's goalkeeper Hipolito Aztore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pichaihué's Emilio Rodriguez got control of the ball when Cosme Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ambrosio Sidoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Aztore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Chano in the 84th minute of play. Cosme Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Rodriguez having to interfere. Cosme Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Rodriguez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosme Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. Cosme Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
