In the 18th minute Uriel Dantel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Txaran in the 20th minute of the match. Armando Chico hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Rosendo Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Tohias, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Chichinales AFC's Laureano Celipe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Ermano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, 孙震平 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Ermano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laureano Celipe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Ermano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Celipe to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Venceslas during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Chichinales AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Halcones F.C.:s goal. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Halcones F.C.. Jesus Truylos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rosendo Eguen. 3-1. Jesus Ermano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blas Abreu's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Chichinales AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Dantel came free, but Rosendo Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes, Elpidio Tipi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chichinales AFC and the Halcones F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute Laureano Celipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Ermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Lapurdi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. But to his dismay, Elpidio Tipi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
