Ferrocarril Sur's Camilo Uzuri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Grzegorz Tamulewicz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Miguel Ofelio took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Grzegorz Tamulewicz to make any attempt to save it. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferrocarril Sur's Ceferino Isidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Myr in the 84th minute of play. Cavour's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Severo Bitxintxo in the 86th minute. The corner led Cavour's Severo Bitxintxo to fire away a dangerous shot which Ceferino Isidor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ceferino Isidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Myr's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Santo Gorka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grzegorz Tamulewicz having to make a save. The Ferrocarril Sur supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ferrocarril Sur would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
