Esperanza 's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, Esperanza 's Cornelio Oxarra threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernabe Euloxu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Euloxu in the 26th minute of play forced Talleres de Cba's goalkeeper Cornelio Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Esperanza 's Benicio Lizar got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres de Cba's goalkeeper Cornelio Oxarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rene Olayo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match, Eriberto Pereyra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cornelio Oxarra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Talleres de Cba getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Edelmiro Gartzi hit a great ball. Bernabe Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernabe Euloxu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Oxarra. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Pereyra got free with Cornelio Oxarra in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Esperanza 's Bernabe Euloxu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Oxarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernabe Euloxu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cornelio Oxarra came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernabe Euloxu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Huly stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Rene Olayo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres de Cba's protests and gave Rene Olayo a yellow card for diving instead. Bernabe Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Oxarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Pereyra in the 65th minute of play. Saverio Frans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Enmanuel in the 66th minute. Bernabe Euloxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cornelio Oxarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabe Euloxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Oxarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Eriberto Pereyra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cornelio Oxarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 85th minute of the match Rene Olayo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rene Olayo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 89th minute, Benicio Lizar made a precise shot to the right of Cornelio Oxarra. Talleres de Cba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Bernabe Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Oxarra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Pereyra went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Esperanza had played much better football throughout.
