But to his dismay, Lano Ondovilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lano Ondovilla succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 10th playminute. MARTELLI FC's Reynaldo Lorencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save MARTELLI FC from getting a goal against them. Ruben Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Berdaitz in the 20th minute of the match. Osvaldo Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Lorencio having to interfere. Reynaldo Lorencio made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Lano Ondovilla sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Ruben Berdaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Veronica. Carabobo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Berdaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Ruben Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes MARTELLI FC got a freekick which was hit by Marti Kaiklem. MARTELLI FC's Reynaldo Lorencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save MARTELLI FC from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Julio Eleazar made the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Frechoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Veronica having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lano Ondovilla in the 53rd minute of play forced MARTELLI FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Lorencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Carabobo FC's Lano Ondovilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynaldo Lorencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Eusebio Frechoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, MARTELLI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Enekoitz came free, but Reynaldo Lorencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Ruben Berdaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Julio Eleazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Lorencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Eleazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, MARTELLI FC's Melchor Oxarra got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Reynaldo Lorencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lano Ondovilla in the 78th minute of the match. MARTELLI FC's Reynaldo Lorencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lano Ondovilla in the 80th minute of play. Marcial Arnalt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, one of MARTELLI FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 87th minute Lano Ondovilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Lorencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lano Ondovilla took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Lorencio. Reynaldo Lorencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 97 minutes into the game, Julio Eleazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Reynaldo Lorencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
