The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Candido Irrintzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes ĦƐĽĽƑļɌƐ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godofredo Urbez who took care of the corner kick. Edgardo Ieltxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Uxio in the 23rd minute. Edgardo Ieltxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Irrintzi in the 24th minute of the match. If Alberigo Fiorentino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gaypón FC's zone, Candido Irrintzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Ieltxu came out of the goal and Candido Irrintzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Candido Irrintzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Uxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Edgardo Ieltxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 40th minute when Candido Irrintzi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 46thth minute of the game Alberigo Fiorentino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ĦƐĽĽƑļɌƐ's Maximo Oliverio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, ĦƐĽĽƑļɌƐ's Alejo Merexildo got a free kick in the 47th minute. Alberigo Fiorentino scored 1-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximo Oliverio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ĦƐĽĽƑļɌƐ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gaypón FC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberigo Fiorentino to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberigo Fiorentino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Uxio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Ieltxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Maximo Oliverio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberigo Fiorentino went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Godofredo Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberigo Fiorentino kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Celedonio Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Ieltxu having to interfere. After some careless play in the Gaypón FC defense, Candido Irrintzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Ieltxu. The Gaypón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Ieltxu should have stopped the shot. After 85 played minutes Gaypón FC got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Urbez. A hard shot 89 in the game by Alberigo Fiorentino from a close distance when the talented Maximo Oliverio managed to make a qualified save. ĦƐĽĽƑļɌƐ's players were relieved. Alberigo Fiorentino hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
