Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonel Precioso took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Arixo got free with Clodoveo Bela in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Diablos Rojos's Clodoveo Bela got control of the ball when Blas Tonete tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 7 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Precioso. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Denis Arixo sped through Diablos Rojos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clodoveo Bela. Diablos Rojos's Clodoveo Bela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Tonete in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Diablos Rojos's zone, Blas Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Bela came out of the goal and Blas Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Clodoveo Bela managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Club Atlético Oberá's Denis Arixo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leonel Precioso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Vladimiro Ellande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Tonete came free, but Clodoveo Bela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Bela made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Denis Arixo sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Club Atlético Oberá's Vladimiro Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Precioso in the 57th minute of play. If Denis Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Angelo Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Bela having to interfere. Club Atlético Oberá's Adolfo Sugoi was substituted for Adriana Precioso. 78 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Oberá's Denis Arixo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clodoveo Bela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Club Atlético Oberá booed when Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Gonzales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Precioso kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. There was no doubt that Club Atlético Oberá were the better team. Club Atlético Oberá's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
