In the 9th minute, Yala AFC's Higinio Modestio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nestor Loiola. In the 15th match minute, Butacó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Oskitz to maneuver through the defense. After 18 minutes, Apolo Bonifaco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Butacó AFC and the Yala AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Butacó AFC's Nestor Loiola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Butacó AFC from getting a goal against them. Nestor Loiola made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Clemente Adrio sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Clemente Adrio notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Butacó AFC's Nestor Loiola. Nestor Loiola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Nestor Loiola managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Yala AFC's Clemente Adrio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nestor Loiola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Adrio in the 34th minute. Paulo Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Hauche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Hauche in the 39th minute of play forced Yala AFC's goalkeeper Paulo Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Hauche to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Gigi Berbec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Loiola. Butacó AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigi Berbec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 6-0 became the score in the 55th minute when Higinio Modestio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nestor Loiola came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Yala AFC's Clemente Adrio. But to his dismay, Clemente Adrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 64th minute, Butacó AFC's Romulo Avellaneda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Petrigai. Paulo Petrigai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-1. Romulo Avellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Mauro Froylan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Butacó AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yala AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Butacó AFC's Mauro Froylan got a free kick in the 69th minute. Paulo Petrigai made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Romulo Avellaneda sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Hauche in the 78th minute of the match. Gabriel Hauche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carolo Lizer hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Gabriel Hauche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Butacó AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Flavio Oskitz hit a great ball. Yala AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gabriel Hauche 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 7-2. In the 92nd match minute, Butacó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Avellaneda to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yala AFC had won after a very even match.
