With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Bizen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Butacó AFC were furious when Apolo Bonifaco was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Gio Simeone put it in 3-6 from a short distance just to the right of Nestor Loiola. Racing Club de Necochea had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
