Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marco Atarratze got the match started through his kick off. The goalkeeper, Filomeno Cebrian, was totally fooled by Quiroga's Filomeno Handi, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ernesto Flor sped through Stroeder's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filomeno Cebrian. Filomeno Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Atarratze in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Marco Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiroga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Atarratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Ernesto Flor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marcos Oliviero lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 35 minutes into the game, one of Quiroga:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quiroga's goalkeeper Lorenzo Rioja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lorenzo Rioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Sadurni in the 46th minute of play. Ernesto Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Filomeno Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
After having played for 57 minutes, Eusebio Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiroga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Azubeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Vladimiro Sadurni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lorenzo Rioja. That made the score 2-2 in the 61 minute of play. Celso Abella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Rioja made a huge save. Lorenzo Rioja made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Celso Abella sent off a good shot on target. Eusebio Azubeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Filomeno Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Manni during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Quiroga booed when Stroeder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Manni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Cebrian came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Quiroga's Filomeno Handi. But to his dismay, Filomeno Handi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Vladimiro Sadurni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lorenzo Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
