A collision led to Tuyubil getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Saverio Brun hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Gizon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaime Abaunza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Gizon went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 58 minutes, Delmar Marino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tuyubil and the Roman old boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaime Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Petrigai in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Roman old boys players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
