Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5317, Seating: 1630, VIP seats: 141) Isaac Sidro took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Elija. Virgilio Elija dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Carpintería was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Frans to maneuver through the defense. With 13 minutes on the clock, Maximino Henry commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Carpintería:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Puna FC:s goal. Ceferino Milio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 18th match minute, Puna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Ursino to maneuver through the defense. Puna FC's Virgilio Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Sidro in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Carpintería's goalkeeper Esteban Cordearo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Rico. Eulalio Ramone took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Virgilio Elija. Puna FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carpintería's Fulgencio Aurken got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Puna FC's zone, Leon Erauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Elija came out of the goal and Leon Erauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Leon Erauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Palos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Esteban Cordearo made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Isaac Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpintería's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Elija breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ceferino Milio fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puna FC's protests and gave Ceferino Milio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Puna FC's Ceferino Milio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Fulgencio Aurken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puna FC's Virgilio Elija was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Esteban Cordearo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Puna FC's Teobaldo Santana. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 66th match minute, Carpintería was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Erauso to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Carpintería's Maximiliano Frans got a free kick in the 68th minute. Esteban Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Carpintería's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Santana came free, but Esteban Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Aurken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Elija read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, one of Carpintería:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ceferino Milio walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Carpintería's Eulalio Ramone shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Virgilio Elija but with some difficulty. In the 86th minute Fulgencio Aurken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Elija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulgencio Aurken in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Elija prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fulgencio Aurken might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Elija. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulgencio Aurken ran back to his position shaking his head. Leon Erauso hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Carpintería played a much better game than Puna FC and deserved their victory. The Puna FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
