After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Henrik Alebäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOCA Jr's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Alebäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Tercero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Tercero was a little too slow when Raul Quentin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 21st minute, BOCA Jr's Teodoro Serafo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Emanuel Tercero made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Nicanor Ekaitz sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Raul Quentin sped through Holmberg AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emanuel Tercero. With a little luck, Holmberg AFC's Emanuel Tercero got control of the ball when Nicanor Ekaitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, BOCA Jr's Nicanor Ekaitz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Tercero was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Quentin was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Holmberg AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Ekaitz came free, but Emanuel Tercero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Holmberg AFC defense, Teodoro Serafo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Tercero. The Holmberg AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Tercero should have stopped the shot. Cristo Brais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Dimas in the 61st minute of the match. Cristo Brais was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sven-Oskar Wennersten. After 65 played minutes Holmberg AFC got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Pacho. Guaberto Pacho charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Pacho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Holmberg AFC's Guaberto Pacho got a free kick in the 67th minute. Emanuel Tercero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Quentin's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Emanuel Tercero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Ekaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Tercero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Serafo in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Teodoro Serafo made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Tercero. Holmberg AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
