But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Serafo couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Primeiro took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Ixidor. Godfredo Ixidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Godfredo Ixidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Orain in the 32nd minute of play. Pincharratas's Godfredo Ixidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Primeiro in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Pincharratas booed when Rosario de Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Salomon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Ixidor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Orain went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Maximiliano Orain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Ixidor having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Serafo to make the kick off. Godfredo Ixidor made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Jeremias Primeiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th match minute, Rosario de Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Salomon to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Serafo's late challenge caught a Rosario de Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Serafo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rosario de Central booed when Pincharratas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Alejo Benino fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario de Central's protests and gave Alejo Benino a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Rosario de Central:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pincharratas:s goal. When Jeremias Primeiro came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Rosario de Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Primeiro couldn't finish the play.
