In the 9th minute, Nicanor Vasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Lavalle's Teobaldo Rivero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Alonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Teobaldo Rivero scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lavalle's Primitivo Ranolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laureano Eneto was the one to do the kick off. Primitivo Ranolfo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Primitivo Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavalle's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Ranolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Alonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Primitivo Ranolfo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 77 minutes into the match, Edgard Cristos notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Lavalle's Anastasio Isaio. Anastasio Isaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
