After 20 played minutes, Maci AS Fútbol Club's Fernando Cortez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carmelo Iztal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maci AS Fútbol Club reached it. In the 22ndth minute of the game Roman Gaspard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maci AS Fútbol Club's Cipriano Dalmai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Sol De Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Leheren came free, but Carmelo Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Leheren couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Gaspard to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sol De Mayo's Carmelo Iztal got control of the ball when Jonathan Cisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Gaspard in the 55th minute of play forced Maci AS Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Cipriano Dalmai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Leheren had several of the Sol De Mayo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Carmelo Iztal as he didn't even see the shot coming. Carmelo Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Maci AS Fútbol Club's zone, Egídio Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Dalmai came out of the goal and Egídio Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Jonathan Cisco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Carmelo Iztal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Aldo Etxatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th play minute Jonathan Cisco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carmelo Iztal. 0-6. With a little luck, Sol De Mayo's Carmelo Iztal got control of the ball when Melquiades Leheren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Leheren in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmelo Iztal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carmelo Iztal came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Maci AS Fútbol Club's Jonathan Cisco. But to his dismay, Jonathan Cisco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Maci AS Fútbol Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
