The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Larroque FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Matteo. The supporters of Larroque FC booed when Tabacal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Txeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Katia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Sabin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tabacal AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Duncan Reeve hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Carmelo Sabin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Larroque FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Carmelo Sabin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larroque FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Sabin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Katia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With 23 minutes on the clock, Haroldo Garaile commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 22nd minute, one of Tabacal AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tabacal AFC. Tadeo Katia had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Ildefonso Oliverios's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Oliverios notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tabacal AFC's Tadeo Katia. Tadeo Katia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute Olof Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match, Adan Misael got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henry Andreasson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ildefonso Oliverios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larroque FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Oliverios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Katia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Placido Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildefonso Oliverios might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Katia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ildefonso Oliverios ran back to his position shaking his head.

The audience was convinced that Carmelo Sabin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Katia was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Sabin in the 55th minute of play forced Tabacal AFC's goalkeeper Tadeo Katia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Sabin in the 57th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the game, Larroque FC's Ildefonso Oliverios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeo Katia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Hernan Sayvion's late challenge caught a Larroque FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Sayvion helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Hernan Sayvion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ildefonso Oliverios came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Larroque FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Oliverios couldn't finish the play.
