In the 14th minute Gaspar Oidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Choromoro's Filiberto Pio got a free kick in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Honorato Osmundo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gil Brás. The supporters of El Rojo FC booed when Choromoro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Pio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The wind increased when Francisco Solustiano made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Choromoro getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gervasio Tano hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Gaspar Oidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, El Rojo FC's Gil Brás got control of the ball when Honorato Osmundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gil Brás came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Choromoro's Filiberto Pio. But to his dismay, Filiberto Pio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Choromoro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of El Rojo FC:s goal. After 80 minutes Choromoro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hermengildo Orlondo who took care of the corner kick. The El Rojo FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when El Rojo FC's Francisco Solustiano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Prospero Ignatius kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. El Rojo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
