The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, ME VOY DEL MZ...'s Gustavo Harriet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Pacifico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. ME VOY DEL MZ...'s Teo Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Elizardo in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Joel Guib shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristides Pacifico showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paulino Itzaina charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Itzaina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for ME VOY DEL MZ.... Luciano Arano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aristides Pacifico. 0-2. Teo Azeari was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelino Bikendi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 24 minute of play. ME VOY DEL MZ...'s Teo Azeari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ME VOY DEL MZ... from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, ME VOY DEL MZ...'s goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Elizardo came free, but Teo Azeari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Loco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustaquio Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Teo Azeari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eustaquio Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Manuel Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teo Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Elizardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidro Firman was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ME VOY DEL MZ...'s zone, Manuel Elizardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Azeari came out of the goal and Manuel Elizardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Manuel Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centro Juventud Antoniana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Elizardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustaquio Sidro in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Azeari saved ME VOY DEL MZ... from getting behind. Manuel Elizardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teo Azeari having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Sidro in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Azeari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gustavo Harriet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Pacifico having to interfere. After some careless play in the ME VOY DEL MZ... defense, Manuel Elizardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teo Azeari. The ME VOY DEL MZ... fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Azeari should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Generoso Viator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Azeari didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Centro Juventud Antoniana's Eustaquio Sidro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Centro Juventud Antoniana were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ME VOY DEL MZ... for a fine match.
