The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Nisio got free with Ruben Gaur in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruben Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ventzislav Savov in the 13th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ventzislav Savov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruben Gaur. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Ruben Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ventzislav Savov in the 17th minute of play. Constantino Sadurni took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jurgis Dalbokas. Jurgis Dalbokas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, Universidad de Córdoba's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Nisio came free, but Ruben Gaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Nisio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Ruben Gaur made a huge save. After 28 played minutes Ventzislav Savov rounded Universidad de Córdoba's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Gualeguay FC were furious when Evelio Miliano was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 32 played minutes Gualeguay FC got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Miliano. Jurgis Dalbokas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ventzislav Savov kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Joel Hondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélio Cosme to make the kick off. Joel Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Gaur having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Gualeguay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Cosme came free, but Jurgis Dalbokas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Gaur came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Gualeguay FC's Raimundo Nisio. But to his dismay, Raimundo Nisio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Jurgis Dalbokas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gualeguay FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inocencio Jerrald was slow to take the kick. During this time Universidad de Córdoba's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Vitório Mattos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Vitório Mattos got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ismael Cordeara. Ventzislav Savov kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Inocencio Jerrald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jurgis Dalbokas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. When Joel Hondo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Gualeguay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Hondo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 94 minutes, Raimundo Nisio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gualeguay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Nisio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gualeguay FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
