The crowd rose to their feet as Mauricio Galsino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustavo Efren. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Santo Hodei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Efren having to interfere. Pulpito f.c.'s Gustavo Efren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Pulpito f.c. from getting a goal against them. Pulpito f.c.'s Gustavo Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Galsino in the 44th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Hodei got free with Gustavo Efren in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Tallia to make the kick off. A collision led to Palmitas getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fabio Michael hit a great ball. Santo Hodei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gustavo Efren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palmitas had won after a very even match.
