Arnulfo Medina scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Etxepare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saverio Guib hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Garci in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Euloxu saved Club Atlético Mitre from getting behind. Felipe Etxepare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Crispo in the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Mitre's zone, Santos Haitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Euloxu came out of the goal and Santos Haitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Getrep's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Dolcet came free, but Felipe Etxepare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Getrep booed when Club Atlético Mitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Locaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Raimundo Crispo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Mitre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Crispo was the one to do the kick off. Getrep's Felipe Etxepare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Getrep from getting a goal against them. In the 69th match minute, Getrep was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Fertus to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Boni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Euloxu having to interfere. Felipe Etxepare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Medina in the 80th minute of play forced Getrep's goalkeeper Felipe Etxepare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Medina recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felipe Etxepare. Arnulfo Medina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Raimundo Crispo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Felipe Etxepare firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Crispo in the 88th minute of play forced Getrep's goalkeeper Felipe Etxepare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Matteo came free, but Nemesio Euloxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Mitre played a much better game than Getrep and deserved their victory. The Getrep players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
