Fontana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Ado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Modesto Valentine scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Henry, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Ado got free with Nicolas Tomi in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute, Filomeno Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ruiz getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marco Quin hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Modesto Valentine was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Fontana FC's Patricio Ixaka got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Fontana FC's Modesto Valentine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvio Henry made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Lázaro Godoy charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ciriaco Ospetsu took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Tomi. Nicolas Tomi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 71st minute Ciriaco Ospetsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Tomi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Valentine's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Elvio Henry skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 74th minute, Karl-Ove Lindman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Ove Lindman kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Modesto Valentine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruiz 's Elvio Henry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Modesto Valentine charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Arnulfo Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
