The Jockey Club Villa Maria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Ariando should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Emeterio got free with Omar Argi in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Acevedo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Argi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Domingo Emeterio made a precise shot to the right of Omar Argi. Panaholma FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Omar Argi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Tristan in the 34th minute. Everardo Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Panaholma FC got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Maragoudakis. Jockey Club Villa Maria were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Panaholma FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelo Lertxun took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Marcelo Lertxun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Omar Argi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Domingo Emeterio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Omar Argi made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Erasmo Gonchan made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Arnaldo Acevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Argi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Sal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Panaholma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Emeterio came free, but Omar Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Jockey Club Villa Maria's Domingo Emeterio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omar Argi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the game, Jockey Club Villa Maria's Arnaldo Acevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Argi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Everardo Sal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Omar Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Acevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Panaholma FC's Omar Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Acevedo in the 72nd minute of play. Omar Argi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Sal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Jockey Club Villa Maria booed when Panaholma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Maragoudakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Omar Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Domingo Emeterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jockey Club Villa Maria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Emeterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th match minute, Jockey Club Villa Maria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Lastur to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Argi having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Danilo Tristan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Omar Argi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Omar Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Sal in the 96th minute of the match. Arnaldo Acevedo scored 6-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omar Argi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jockey Club Villa Maria walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
