Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonas Banegas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Bartoli in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Abeita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Karmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Abeita having to interfere. Vinicio Bartoli might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Abeita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinicio Bartoli ran back to his position shaking his head. Elvio Gorbea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Genaro Geofredo made a huge save. Serafin Abeita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Clemencin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Vinicio Bartoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Rony Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the COSMOS F.C.V.C. defense, Vinicio Bartoli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Abeita. The COSMOS F.C.V.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Abeita should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind COSMOS F.C.V.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Abeita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Rony Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the CARLITERA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Pimenta couldn't finish the play. Serafin Abeita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinicio Bartoli went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Genaro Geofredo made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Elvio Gorbea sent off a good shot on target. When Bartolo Sergi fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored COSMOS F.C.V.C.'s protests and gave Bartolo Sergi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, COSMOS F.C.V.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Sergi to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th match minute, COSMOS F.C.V.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th match minute, CARLITERA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Bartoli to maneuver through the defense. Ambrosio Nuñez charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Nuñez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zeledon Remicio placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After the first half CARLITERA FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Emanuel Henric managed to get in a good position for a shot. COSMOS F.C.V.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Henric was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Geofredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafin Abeita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vinicio Bartoli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. If Vinicio Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Abeita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rony Pimenta in the 63rd minute. CARLITERA FC's Rony Pimenta managed to work through COSMOS F.C.V.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rony Pimenta dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Banegas in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genaro Geofredo saved CARLITERA FC from getting behind. If Vinicio Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Gorbea took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Geofredo. Genaro Geofredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the game, Moises Tuste recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serafin Abeita. Moises Tuste showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 92 minutes into the match, COSMOS F.C.V.C.'s goalkeeper Serafin Abeita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Karmel. 93 minutes into the match, COSMOS F.C.V.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Bartoli came free, but Serafin Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Bartoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CARLITERA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
