Heroes del Silencio's Cristian Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Lano in the 11th minute of play. When Lucas Lizbeth fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heroes del Silencio's protests and gave Lucas Lizbeth a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Heroes del Silencio got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Lizbeth. Benedicto Lucado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Cristian Ramirez made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Tano during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Heroes del Silencio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Tano to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Natalia Natalia's Silvano Lano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Ramirez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Polentzi made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Lano in the 51st minute of play forced Heroes del Silencio's goalkeeper Cristian Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Sixto Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heroes del Silencio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Natalia Natalia the free kick. A collision led to Heroes del Silencio getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sixto Ruy hit a great ball. Benedicto Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Ramirez having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Lano in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Ramirez saved Heroes del Silencio from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Natalia Natalia's goalkeeper Emilio Fidensio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Polentzi. After a defensive mix-up in Heroes del Silencio's zone, Silvano Lano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Ramirez came out of the goal and Silvano Lano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natalia Natalia's Gualterio Karmel was substituted for Edgardo Abascal. 79 minutes into the game, Silvano Lano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cristian Ramirez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Mauricio Policarpio fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heroes del Silencio's protests and gave Mauricio Policarpio a yellow card for diving instead. 87 minutes into the game, Silvano Lano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cristian Ramirez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Generoso Dino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Ramirez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Generoso Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Natalia Natalia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Dino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Lano in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Natalia Natalia fully deserved thier win.
