In the 36th minute Joaquin Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Berdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evelio Lucian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Parish's Amado Arano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Parish from getting a goal against them. Luis Monico might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amado Arano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Monico ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Reducción getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Edgardo Eguerdi hit a great ball. A hard shot by Luis Monico from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Amado Arano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Amado Arano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Monico in the 63rd minute. Raul Sanduru was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Parish's Erubiel Tibalt was substituted for Nestor Padro. Joaquin Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Erubiel Tibalt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pastor Ramirez's late challenge caught a Reducción's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Ramirez helped the player get up and apologised. Pastor Ramirez kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Reducción getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Wilfredo Markel hit a great ball. Parish's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
