Filiberto Elazar tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ambrosio Izel. An unnecessary self made goal, 5-0 in the 42nd minute. Eustacio Jerardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ambrosio Izel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustacio Jerardo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Coronados's Eustacio Jerardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ambrosio Izel. Ambrosio Izel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
