The audience was convinced that Anselmo Matai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Aurre was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. A collision led to Naruto Crew getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Atilano Ubarna hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Anselmo Matai notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Naruto Crew's Leonides Aurre. Leonides Aurre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonides Aurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Matai in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Calafate AFC's goalkeeper Fabricio Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Cordairo. A collision led to Naruto Crew getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Atilano Ubarna hit a great ball. Calafate AFC's Fabricio Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Caton in the 33rd minute of play. Anselmo Matai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Naruto Crew's Fulgencio Ugutz got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 37 played minutes, Calafate AFC's Aquiles Kauldi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonides Aurre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Calafate AFC reached it. In the 38thth minute of the game Anselmo Matai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naruto Crew's Leonides Aurre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casimiro Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Leonides Aurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Tipi hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Anselmo Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Caton was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Caton in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Lopez saved Calafate AFC from getting behind. After 53 played minutes, Calafate AFC's Aquiles Kauldi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonides Aurre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Calafate AFC reached it. With a little luck, Naruto Crew's Leonides Aurre got control of the ball when Narciso Lucila tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Anselmo Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Anselmo Matai took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Leonides Aurre to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Calafate AFC booed when Naruto Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Naruto Crew defense, Anselmo Matai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Aurre. The Naruto Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Aurre should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Naruto Crew's Atilano Ubarna got a free kick in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Matai in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Aurre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filiberto Betadur hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Matai in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Aurre saved Naruto Crew from getting behind. After 93 played minutes Naruto Crew got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Caton. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Matai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Aurre was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Calafate AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
