Icaño FC's Cecilio Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Maurin in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Club San Lorenzo de A's Alexandre Borba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Sanson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Icaño FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Noel Flahaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Sanson having to interfere. Robustiano Berart charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Alexandre Borba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Sanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Maurin in the 95th minute of the match. After 98 minutes, Luisito Tirso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Icaño FC and the Club San Lorenzo de A players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 98th match minute, Icaño FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Tirso to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes into the match, Alexandre Borba notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Icaño FC's Cecilio Sanson. Cecilio Sanson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Icaño FC could leave the field as winners, despite Club San Lorenzo de A having more of the ball for most of the match.
