Fidel Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Orzaize, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Lino Monte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Bide went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Fagildo in the 35th minute of play forced Zelaya's goalkeeper Lino Monte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Fagildo during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Oinatz made a kick off.
