If Maximo Fe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Fe in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Arotza saved boca juniors from getting behind. In the 7thth minute of the game Maximo Fe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but boca juniors's Saturnino Arotza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 8 minutes boca juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pastor Ikatz who took care of the corner kick. In the 10th minute Maximo Fe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riogalleguenses's Maximo Fe got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Fe in the 24th minute of play forced boca juniors's goalkeeper Saturnino Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes boca juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pastor Ikatz who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sergio Unax got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saturnino Arotza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alfredo Gabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. boca juniors's Saturnino Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Fe in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of boca juniors booed when Riogalleguenses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Solustiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Seco in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Higinio Quirce, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Saturnino Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Ikatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Maximo Fe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riogalleguenses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Fe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximo Fe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Arotza having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Pastor Ikatz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of boca juniors's Saturnino Arotza. Saturnino Arotza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipe Seco made a kick off. Maximo Fe succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Higinio Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute of the game Nicanor Normando made a throw-in which Gaspar Osmundo played forward. Higinio Quirce came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by boca juniors's Filipe Seco. But to his dismay, Filipe Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Maximo Fe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Saturnino Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, boca juniors's Saturnino Arotza got control of the ball when Pastor Ikatz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saturnino Arotza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Ikatz in the 78th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, boca juniors's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pastor Ikatz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Maximo Fe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Saturnino Arotza firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pastor Ikatz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Saturnino Arotza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Riogalleguenses's Pastor Ikatz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saturnino Arotza. That made the score 1-3 after 93 minutes of play.
