The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Tomi got free with Celso Isias in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcial Jaunzuria kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Minacar's zone, Emiliano Tomi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Isias came out of the goal and Emiliano Tomi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corcovado FC's Børge Drube got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, Minacar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Sasoin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Sengrat in the 26th minute of play forced Corcovado FC's goalkeeper Augusto Emenon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corcovado FC's Emiliano Tomi got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Tomi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Celso Isias made a huge save. Luis Isidor charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Isidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luis Isidor kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Delmiro Delfino took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Emenon. Augusto Emenon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Luis Isidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Celso Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emiliano Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emiliano Tomi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Emenon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Delfino in the 46th minute of the match. When Gaston Sasoin came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Minacar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Sasoin couldn't finish the play.

After 52 minutes, Børge Drube mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corcovado FC and the Minacar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Corcovado FC got a freekick which was hit by Børge Drube. During the 54th minute of the match Børge Drube completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Børge Drube a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Corcovado FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Børge Drube hit a great ball. Augusto Emenon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Duardo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Melquiades Oriche kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Emiliano Tomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Celso Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Tomi struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Celso Isias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corcovado FC. Celso Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Cesario in the 77th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Emiliano Tomi put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Celso Isias. The supporters of Corcovado FC booed when Minacar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Baumer didn't get a good kick on the ball.
