During this time Ituzaingó FC's players had a chance to rest. 15 minutes into the match, Jonatan Abilio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eliseo Fertus, 1-1. Valentin Domenec received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliseo Fertus came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentin Domenec slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 24th minute. Hipolito Reynardo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Norberto Gomesano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Arvin Rosen struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Norberto Gomesano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HerchuFC. In the 36th minute Rafael Santio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Fertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ituzaingó FC's zone, Ricardo Mederi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Gomesano came out of the goal and Ricardo Mederi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Abel in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Gomesano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Domingo Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eliseo Fertus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Santio in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 53rd match minute, Ituzaingó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Santio to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Gomesano made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Domingo Abel sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Mederi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Jonatan Abilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Fertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Domenec, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A collision led to Ituzaingó FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Celestino Gaizkine hit a great ball.
