Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elias Vitin started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Exequiel Palacios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carboni FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ituzaingó FC the free kick. After 2 played minutes Carboni FC got a freekick which was hit by Exequiel Palacios. In the 6thth minute of the game Rafael Santio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carboni FC's Anacleto Abascal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Carboni FC's Elias Vitin in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ituzaingó FC's goalie prevented a goal. Norberto Gomesano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yakim Hadzhistoyanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ituzaingó FC's zone, Yakim Hadzhistoyanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Gomesano came out of the goal and Yakim Hadzhistoyanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute of the match Victoriano Abascal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anacleto Abascal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st match minute, Carboni FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Ghișe to maneuver through the defense. Exequiel Palacios hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Yakim Hadzhistoyanov scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norberto Gomesano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yakim Hadzhistoyanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Norberto Gomesano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Vitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberto Gomesano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Sidro in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Carboni FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Elias Vitin hit a great ball. Anacleto Abascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Santio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Elias Vitin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Carboni FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Vitin couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Aguirre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Norberto Gomesano. Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Yakim Hadzhistoyanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rafael Santio made the kick off in the second half. Elias Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Gomesano having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Carboni FC got a freekick which was hit by Yakim Hadzhistoyanov. When Inocencio Sidro fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carboni FC's protests and gave Inocencio Sidro a yellow card for diving instead. Inocencio Sidro hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Elias Vitin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 65 minutes of play, Ituzaingó FC's Rafael Santio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anacleto Abascal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaime Gudesteo charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Gudesteo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carboni FC booed when Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Gudesteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Vitin in the 73rd minute of play forced Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Norberto Gomesano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Yakim Hadzhistoyanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carboni FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yakim Hadzhistoyanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ituzaingó FC's Hipolito Reynardo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Carboni FC's Elias Vitin in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ituzaingó FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 88 played minutes Ituzaingó FC got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Abascal. In the 91st minute of the match, Yakim Hadzhistoyanov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Norberto Gomesano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Carboni FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
