But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Beltza couldn't finish the play. When Victor Ted fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOSTERO FC's protests and gave Victor Ted a yellow card for diving instead. The BOSTERO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Angel Bermudo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorenzo Beltza went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. Teodosio Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Lluciano having to interfere. Alvaro Tristan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niceto Lluciano. Pique's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Costante got free with Angel Bermudo in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Pique could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BOSTERO FC throughout the match.
