Pastor Lalla scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnino Afonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Puissoye's Nicasio Pirmin got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roque Lizardi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Saturnino Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Bonifaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Ariel Berdaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Afonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Oxarra was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, one of Puissoye:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Lalla made a kick off. Saturnino Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Lalla in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Christian Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estudiantes de la Plaza's Santos Bonifaco got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roque Lizardi made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Estudiantes de la Plaza's Ariel Berdaitz. 97 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de la Plaza's goalkeeper 江卫挺 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Servando. Estudiantes de la Plaza's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
