Spectators: 6919 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulino Tolino started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Laureano Policarpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Policarpio got free with Americo Jago in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 minutes, Ciriaco Roderigo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Madryn's Americo Jago tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Nastasio's late challenge caught a Homero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Nastasio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Madryn's Bruno Nastasio got a free kick in the 20th minute. Alejo Tiniebra lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Homero FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 26th minute, one of Deportivo Madryn:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Madryn. Ciriaco Roderigo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Placido Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Jago having to interfere. Homero FC's Damian Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Michael in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Prudencio Barros threw the ball into play from the sideline. Homero FC's Placido Izel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Placido Izel came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Homero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Izel couldn't finish the play. Laureano Policarpio struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Americo Jago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Homero FC.

Homero FC's Damian Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Tolino in the 55th minute of play. Damian Tirso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Tolino in the 61st minute of the match. If Placido Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Tirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Tolino in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Madryn's zone, Laureano Policarpio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Jago came out of the goal and Laureano Policarpio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Placido Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Homero FC's Damian Tirso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Homero FC from getting a goal against them. Laureano Policarpio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Prudencio Barros fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Madryn's protests and gave Prudencio Barros a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Deportivo Madryn got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Barros. Paulino Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Damian Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Homero FC booed when Deportivo Madryn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Laureano Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Fabricio Michael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Tirso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Homero FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
