If Marian Oancea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Logroño's Lucas Rito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herminio Gaxan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 6th match minute, Pretorianos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Rufio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pretorianos getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Astor Rufio hit a great ball. Andres Garoa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. Herminio Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Bernad in the 18th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Ariel Bernad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herminio Gaxan. Pretorianos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ariel Bernad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Marian Oancea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Rito in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Marian Oancea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Feliciano Mitxaut. Marian Oancea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 46 minutes into the match, Logroño's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Oancea came free, but Feliciano Mitxaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Lehen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nereo Galo to make the kick off. Marian Oancea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pretorianos booed when Logroño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Ioritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Rufio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Logroño's Marcelino Gines dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Astor Lehen scored 3-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliciano Mitxaut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Marian Oancea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pretorianos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 86 minutes into the match, Logroño's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Oancea came free, but Feliciano Mitxaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Logroño defense, Astor Lehen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliciano Mitxaut. The Logroño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliciano Mitxaut should have stopped the shot. Astor Lehen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Mitxaut having to interfere. If Marian Oancea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pretorianos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
